The division has a broad range of state-of-the-art machine tools and machineries capable of various services such as Thermal Spraying - ARC SPRAY & HVOF, Precision Machining, Heavy Duty Machining, Reverse Engineering, Complex Machining, Refurbishment of Oilfield components, Dynamic Balancing up to 16 tons &manufacturing of oilfield drilling tools as per API 5CT & API 7-1.

Currently, this service has started Mud Rotor Refurbishment Services, Downhole tool refurbishment with TC hard-facing, API related batch quantity & critical components manufacturing.

This AOTC division is involved with testing, recertification and repairing of various valves and pressure control equipment to the Oil& Gas, petrochemicals, chemicals and associated industries for more than a decade. Major services include Wellhead stack up testing and recertification, fugitive emission testing, In situ repair & lapping, online relief valve performance testing & repair, high pressure testing facility for API components, large dia ESD valves repair & testing and mobile valve care service.

The division is setting a Valve Automation Center and is aiming at starting a Valve Diagnosis and condition monitoring service (pre shutdown and post shutdown survey for plant valves), Intelligent G3 condition monitoring for the critical ESDV and HIPPS valves andmajor repair services on choke manifolds and BOP’s.

AOTC have an established Electrical Motor Services Division, specializing in the provision of fully qualified, time served personnel to offer a wide range of services either at AOTC facility or on client premises either onshore or offshore. The Electrical Motor division aims to target higher voltage motors 2200KW to 11KVA, establishing capabilities to test, rewind and repair and inclusive of VPI, 12ftx12ftx12ft oven. The division has applied for IECex certification for repairing of explosion proof motors. A further extension is planned to conduct theLow Voltage Motor rewind/repair services in Sohar to cater for the immediate needs of the local industry in the area.
